#### [Do I need an undergraduate degree in economics to apply?](https://grad.tufts.edu/gsas-ms-economics#accordion-main-module-24-panel-1)

While an undergraduate degree in economics is helpful, it is not strictly required. Successful applicants demonstrate strong quantitative preparation and have completed prerequisite coursework in multivariate calculus. 

 

Strong applicants typically have completed an intermediate microeconomics course and linear algebra.
