Electrical engineers have a key role to play in the research and development of exciting new technologies. With an MS from Tufts, you’ll be prepared for an engineering career in a wide variety of industries, including consumer electronics, renewable energy (particularly solar power), autonomous driving, and more.

Careers for graduates include:

  • TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo scores are required, if applicable.
  • If admitted, confirm enrollment by April 15 for fall admission, or December 1 for spring admission.
  • The Tufts International Center issues visa document forms and offers support.

GRE General Test scores not required for applicants who will have received a degree from a U.S. or Canadian institution by time of enrollment. GRE scores required for all other applicants.

Our immigration services and programs and events support the arrival, orientation, and ongoing success of our community members. If you are admitted, here are a few important things to remember:

  • Contact Tufts International Center with any questions related to visa processing, work authorization, and cultural acclimation.
  • International students on visa must be full-time students. Tufts International Center will issue an I-20 form or IAP-66 form.
  • Confirm your enrollment and pay the tuition deposit by April 15 for fall enrollment, or December 1 for spring enrollment.
  • Complete and return the International Student Information form to upon receiving your admittance letter.
  • Verify that you are able to pay for your educational and living expenses.
